 This is a 12 month long program.

Qigong is a self discovery and self healing technique. In this class, the student will meet once a month in classroom style. The student will learn and share different theories and techniques, to improve his or her health and lifestyle.

Throughout the 12 months, the student will learn about the basic concepts of the Zang-Fu theory, Yin-Yang theory, Meridians, and the Five Element theory. The student will be able to understand how the organs support and control each other, how the energy flows through the body, how emotions may affect the internal organs, and how the internal illness cause emotions issues.  The student also will learn about the ancient Chinese balanced diet, special stretching techniques, and why our body has aches and pains.

After completing this beginner qigong program, you will be able to gain better knowledge on this ancient Chinese healing art. Using a balanced diet, stretching exercises, and utilizing qigong breathing technique to ground yourself (connect to Mother Earth), remain balanced to reduce stress, promote self healing, and discover you higher self. So the mind, body and spirit work together as a whole.
